Medication reviews are offered free of additional cost to patients (eligibility criteria apply), when referred by their GP
All General Practice and Doctors consultations will attract a fee as below in line with AMA recommendations. We pride ourselves on the quality of our care, and as such a gap payment will always apply. Medicare rebates may apply if you meet Medicare eligibility criteria. This is viewable via MBS Online.
Reduced rates may apply for Pension card, Healthcare card holders as well as Children <16yo.
If you are facing significant financial hardship, additional concessions may be applicable.

The Medicare Rebate Schedule is too complicated to list here, and will depend on a case by case scenario.
However, our fees are capped at:
$410 for <30mins (including MBS rebate)
$800 for <60mins (including MBS rebate)
Facility fees based on time may apply and be added to the above cap in some instances.

The fee is split into 2 components (both time based) and calculated as below:
Specialty Consultation Fee + Facility Fee
The specialty consultation fee may be Medicare Rebatable. The facility fee is non-rebatable.

These expenses are based on estimated time to complete and do not attract Medicare Rebates. Please discuss with your insurer, the amount they are willing to cover.
Reports will only be commenced once payment is made in full. Partial payments are not accepted.
Base expense (up to 1hr): $600 +GST
For every 30mins or part-there-of after: $320 +GST
All other paperwork not covered above specifically are billed at a rate of:
$120+GST for the first 10 minutes or part-there-of and
$70+GST for each 5 minutes or part-there-of thereafter.
(For example, a task taking 12 minutes will cost $120+$70+GST)
